What is iOS?

iOS is a mobile operating system for smartphones and tablets. It was developed by the US-based company Apple for exclusive use on their iPhones. Until the introduction of iPadOS in 2019, iOS was also the operating system for iPads.

The only place to get iOS apps is Apple’s App Store.
