Cost per Sale (CPS)

What is the Cost per Sale?

The Cost per Sale is a cost metric that sets the total cost of a campaign in relation to the number of sales, or, from the user perspective to the number of purchases that are generated as a result of the campaign. Purchases include in-app purchases of digital goods, physical goods in e-commerce gaps, or services.

CPS as a Payout Model

Some ad networks run rewarded ad campaigns based on CPS. They encourage users to perform a purchase in the advertiser’s app. The advertiser pays a fixed price for each purchase, and a share of this price is distributed to the user as an in-app reward.
